Reiki 1

This course comprises of TWO in-person sessions and online homestudy:

In-person sessions:

Saturday July 3rd 10am-1pm

Saturday July 10th 10am-1pm

Reiki 1 is the foundation course for activating the Reiki flow in your hands.  This course is ideal for anyone wanting to increase their vitality and energy and reduce stress.  Reiki is so easy to use that it is ideal for lay people who are not familiar with natural health and methods of healing as it provides an excellent foundation for exploring other types of modalities.

Elaine’s Reiki courses are split between theory videos/reading material and two practical face to face sessions. 

Online theory videos/reading materials

• more time to absorb the content
• learning at your own pace/time
• bite-sized videos – watch for 5 minutes or one hour!
• Go back and revisit content anytime

In-person sessions 

• Face to face attunements
• Hands on experience
• practice over a week in between sessions
• Lots of time for questions

The Reiki 1 course flow:

1. Part 1 Theory –  bite-sized videos recorded in 5-10 minute segments, in total around 3 hours which can be split over as many days as you wish.

• Introduction to Reiki
• Qualities of Reiki
• Accessing Reiki through Attunements
• Why we need healing
• The Chakra System

2. First In-person Session, Saturday July 3rd 10am-1pm

• Receive two Reiki attunements to activate the Reiki flow 
• Learn how to give first aid and casual Reiki 
• Practice the Chakra balancing treatment 
• Learn the 12 Body position self-treatment 
• Q & A

3. Part 2 Theory – complete the remaining 3 hours of theory. 

• How Reiki has evolved
• Using Reiki for true healing
• Meditation to know ourselves
• Treating others
• Results and cautions
• Other general uses

4.   Final In-person Session, Saturday July 10th 10am-1pm

• Receive the final two Reiki attunements 
• Practice the 12 body positions 
• Learn the intuitive healing treatment
• Healing others
• Q & A
• Receive your Certificate! 

COVID-19 Restrictions

Due to the current COVID restrictions, class size is currently limited. In the event we are not permitted to meet in person, the in-person sessions will revert to Zoom meetings. Please rest assured the quality of the meetings and your Reiki flow is unaffected by geography.
