Elaine Hamilton

Elaine Hamilton Grundy founded The Reiki Centre in 2007 and has practised Reiki for over 30 years, becoming a Reiki Master in 1995. She left a corporate career in marketing to dedicate herself fully to teaching Reiki free from dogma. Since then she has taught thousands of students and trained more than 100 Reiki teachers, authored two books on the subject, and continues to offer online teaching, coaching and healing via Zoom. Her work also draws on Kundalini Yoga and CBT wellbeing practice, including experience supporting patients in medical and hospice settings.
Stress and anxiety - Self-empowerment and personal growth - Spiritual growth and self-discovery - General health and wellbeing - Wellbeing support in medical and hospice contexts
Elaine's approach centres on Reiki as a self-help tool rather than something done "to" a client — her focus is on teaching people to heal themselves and their loved ones. She teaches without dogma, encouraging each person to find their own way of practising rather than following fixed rules. Classes combine online theory with in-person or Zoom-based practicals and attunements, so students can learn flexibly whether based in Singapore or elsewhere. Her interests have expanded over time into meditation, nonduality and inner inquiry, and she also works as a Kundalini Yoga teacher and CBT Wellbeing advisor, including within medical practices and hospices.
