It’s so simple and so effective.  The first time I wrote this I was Read More Writing your Ideal Scene

In my honest opinion, it shouldn’t be called ‘Reiki’ as it is not from Dr. Usui’s lineage, but originates from a Danish healer and meditator, Ole Gabrielsen.  Kundalini Reiki has been around for about 10 years, and requires us to use our own mental energy to turn the Reiki ‘on’.

It is no accident that many Read More Usui vs Kundalini Reiki

On the other hand, because Reiki means “spiritual energy”, the Greater Power that is Reiki will guide us to use other therapies and/or methods as we progress along our own healing journeys.

Myths and Reiki – Vipassana and Reiki do not mix

Posted in Reiki and Other Modalities, and Reiki Blog

Debunking Reiki Myths is one of my favourite topics, so this week we look at a common preference of some Vipassana Meditation teachers to stop their students doing Reiki.  To quote a Vipassana teacher:

“In Vipassana we observe what is without attempting to change it, and with energy healing you change things.”

To start with, I would offer a clearer distinction that may help:

“In Vipassana we observe what is Read More Myths and Reiki – Vipassana and Reiki do not mix

Posted in Reiki and Other Modalities, and Reiki Blog

By Jaime Tanna

There is a sacred relationship with the Divine through sound, and we have always felt this knowing deep within us and we consciously or unconsciously express this through our words (prayer) and our song (music). The mass spiritual awakening that humanity is experiencing today is leading more and more of us to once again explore this sacred connection to sound.

The drumbeat is one of the oldest Read More Reiki Drumming | Reiki Drum Technique
